Greenfield is a fictional city created in the sandbox video game Minecraft created by THEJESTR on August 29, 2011, and is arguably the biggest Minecraft city to exist in the game. There are thousands of other Minecraft city projects in existence, with a few notable ones including Huntington, Danville, Monticello, and more. However, none of these cities have a size compared to Greenfield.
Greenfield is designed to resemble the west coast, heavily inspired by Los Angeles, and is built to a one-to-one scale, with each block's size being one cubic meter. A private live server for builders exists for it.
According to the team, the city is around 20% complete. It has taken over 10 years for the team to reach this percentage, with over 20 million blocks placed, so assuming the building team is building this map at the current rate, it may take another 40 years to reach 100% completion, which is by 2060.
